I heard so many horror stories about this and then had it done. Its almost commical how small the Q-tip is. Honestly one a scale of 1-10 10 being the most painful id say it was a 2.

Plus you cant beat the frame of mind your in once you get it done and everything comes back neg. Its like a ton off your shoulders.

OH and a correction..once ur done it's not over. Get tested again in 6 months to a year. Then you're good. HIV takes a while to show up.

I just got a STD test done 2 weeks ago and the doctor said if there is no pain when you urinate or any discharge then a simple blood test is all that is needed they check for HIV and sphyllis with the blood test.

i had something similar, but it was just a bacterial infection from playing football and being sweaty - same symptoms of chlamydia, the drips, the itching... DAMN it hurt so bad, and that stick he put in was lik 4-5in long

No I didn't have any infection when they tested me so I can see why it would be alot more painful after reading your experience.

Your doctor is a moron. There are plenty of people who are just carriers for STDs and never get a symptom
