yeah, you need to do all the playlists and uploading of songs through iTunes.
yup...all that stuff is on itunes..Originally Posted by IronReload04
k, figured out the playlists.
Now just a couple more things to figure out
put it back in the box and shit it back :P
out of the microsoft zune, creative zen, and ipod, ipod is most definately the most bad azz and coolest imo.
I am sick to death of the creative zen over all. the touch screen is horrible and clumsy. It takes me at least 3 tries to do what ever i am trying to do most of the time. its blocky and it looks unatractive. The lighting is pretty cool though. the purple backlight against the black is actually really sharp and slick. but O navigating the zen is just a headache. its blocky and heavy and the damn touch screen has a mind of its own and is just full of uncoordination, i would not reccomend the zen to anyone.
the zune is pretty cool, overly big screen. Not to much of a fan of it though. just not my style
Ipod video black just looks sick. the touch screen feels extremely accurate and precise coming from the zen. navigation is much much much easier on the ipod, so much smoother. def glad i went with it. The setup is pretty much the same, but navigation is leaps and bounds better than the zen.
one more gripe withe the zen
and this you to just make me get beligerent it was so annoying
lets say the end of a song would be nearing, and you are scrolling through your list, when the song changes, you automatically go to the "new now playing song" and you lose your place and have to start scrolling all over. no issue with the ipod
itunes blows ass. I tried to import my songs into it and it erased 2500 of them.

There is a reason why they include them.
I've had MANY iPods and I don't have problems with any of them. Maybe it's the way you're handling them.Originally Posted by Bryan2

In 2 years, i have had 2 creative zens die. the 2nd time was my fault, but believe me, it was on its deathbed anyway. Its not good when you have to reset it every other day. probably harsh for the playerOriginally Posted by Bryan2
And, alot more people have ipods than other players increasing the sheer amount of people with ipods, so it stands to reason that you will see more repairs with ipod than with others, simply because so many have them
Apple makes a good mp3 player, their are some things that are really really reall cheap that they do however

ok, someone please help me out with this question. this has to do with syncing
1. I have 100 songs that i put on my ipod already from my school computer. ok, so when i go home eventually, and install i tunes on my home computer, and i hook my ipod up to pc, will i lose the 100 songs when i hook up to a diff computer
2. when i put about 3000 songs on my ipod when i go home, then come back, and hook it up to my pc at school, will those 3000 songs get erased
I am not entirley sure about the whole sync thing, i am not finding info online

Its true that they are the number 1 seller but you can tell alot of easy things are overlooked in the manufacturing process alot of the times.
ok well to answer my questions. I guess you can, through options, turn off auto sync and switch to manual sync, then do it by dragging files in. otherwise if you did auto sync you could lose a shit load of files

man I got a ipod for free from my friend, 4 gigs...its decent, but sometimes i hate the scroller cause youll like zip past the song or menu button you want. then one time it wouldnt turn off..and for some reason the battery life is long...like i had a samsung 512mb mp3 player and soemtimes i would fall asleep with it on and next morning ill still have 2/3 battery life left, the ipods battery life will go down a bar every 30 min or hour..lame, maybe its just cause im charging it on the usb cable cause i dont have a charger lol
but dont talk about the Zen...cause walmart is selling a Zen 20 gig for 130 bucks....not bad

altho itunes is far superior to any other MP3 software the sync issue is annoying. ephpod is free and eliminates the need to have identical libraries.
is there any way to get protected songs onto an ipod??? its pissing me off cause i want to put some songs on..but their protected, and my computer that has the songs on it doesnt have internet conenctions so i cant download newer versions..i heard that burning them to a cd then loading them on your comp again will enable it.
Burning a CD will strip the DRM. Then reimport them back to iTunes as plain mp3s.Originally Posted by hocoathlete

you can use ephpod...ephpod doesnt care if its copyrighted. itunes does.
could i load my protected songs onto my other mp3player then upload them back to my comp?? would that strip the protection?
You can't load iTunes tracks on other mp3 players without burning a CD or using another method to strip the DRM.
