If steroids are illegal, then why don't athletes or pros get arrested when test come back positive for steroids? Everybody knows that the pro's take them, so why don't they get caught? search warrants for pro bodybuilders? just curious...

Because pros find ways to beat the tests by using short estered steroids and something like steroid cleanse.
It is not illegal to have them in your system. I don't know if a positive test is something that could warrant a search warrant.
You can't arrest someone for something like that. You can only arrest someone while they are committing a crime or have possession of controlled substance. Just because a test said you took AAS at one point, doesn't give the authorities a reason to arrest that person.Originally Posted by calichico
Exactly. And for the record, no, it doesn't warrant a search of person or residence unless the guy is already on probation.Originally Posted by MartyMcFly
