Broke hand in middle of cycle.

Hey guys, I have been on a cycle of
    test cyp-500/week
    deca-300/week
    d-bol-30mg/day
This is my first cycle, and on sunday I broke my hand. 2 metacarpals, called a boxers fracture so im in a cast now and cant lift anything but legs for over a month. I was getting ready to start my 5th week of cycle. I talked to a few friends experienced w/ juice and we decided I was better off to just stop taking it all completely and save it til im ready to go again. Since Ive only been taking this short time, I didnt think I will need any pct or anything. Any suggestions or advice from anyone would be great. Is this the right thing to do? Also when should I start the cycle back? As soon as the cast is off and I can train correctly again?

Dang, that sucks. What would you recommend for my pct at this point then? I know the cyp will be in me for another week b/c my last shot was in the middle of last week. Thanks

    Standard PCT dude

    Day 1-30- .25mg L-dex + 100mg Clomid + 20mg Nolva

You might get away with less time, but personally I wouldnt risk it. And with Cyp PCT starts 18 days after your last shot . If I was you I would wait the 18 days and get a blood Test to see where my Test levels were at and then decide on a PCT protocol then

Stop and do PCT. I had that same fracture. Man i also got 2 bi-lateral tears in both arms. You have to stop. It wont do any good to stay on. Good luck bro.

how long were you out with that fracture? the er told me 4-6 weeks and the doc said probably 6-8. I asked him about lifting after 3 or so and he said possibly but the cast would be in the way. At least my much neglected legs can be catching up in the mean time though. Also, when the 18 days are over, I thought about going to the doc and saying I have low testosterone. What are the chances of me getting a prescription for test being that im 21?

    Bro,
This summer I did the exact same thing to my right hand by punching out a window at a bar. I just did cardio, legs and hammer strength stuff for 1.5 weeks or so. Then I started working out normally at two weeks with lighter weight till my grip came back. I didn't get casted, but I had a splint for a few weeks, if i remember 2-3 weeks. Personally I'd stay on for a few reasons....1. You can still gain and lean up a bit (with all this time for cardio now) 2. If you come off now you won't have enough gear left over for another cycle anyways so whats the point. Then you can come back to your regular routine aside from legs, machines, abs, and cardio and be right in the prime of the cycle. It sounds a little stupid at first, but think about it for a second. This is what I did and it worked out fine for me.

As far as you getting a 'script for test from a doc @ 21...no dice bro. I tried this as well, by going to see a urologist and getting the blood work done and talking about HRT etc. The original blood work came back and while it was on the low end of the scale, he said we'll check again in 3 months. So I was like eff that, I'm not gonna stay suppressed that long, or take some deca 2-3 weeks before my next appt. Good luck tho man.

Alright thanks. I can't even do hammer machines right now. Im hoping to be able to do that after another week or so. I will have enough gear if i stop now though, b/c i originally bought enough for a 20 week cycle, so I still have plenty.

Stop everything apart from the dbol, debol can help in healing bone damage, this is what a doctor told a mate of mine after he broke both arms in a lifting accident. (he knew that my mate was taking gear.) His arms did heal quickly.

haha, id try anything...I think after another week with this cast i can do some things. Ive still went to the gym every night, just bc i love being around the atmosphere. I tried some straight bar tri pushdown last night, and if the cast had a soft spot in the palm i could do them. It put no pressure at all on my hand since the cast is so hard. Im gonna be doing a lot of experimenting with lifting the next little bit. Im going to check with the doc about the dbol helping heal the bones also.

thanks for the answers and replies everyone...anyone in the medical profession know anything for sure about this? recommended doses or anything like that? also, how soon after my cast is off should i start the cycle back? I thought i would get my training going hard for about a month first before i started my cycle back. what do you guys think?

  17. #17
Break off the cast and get back in the gym. I have done the same to my hands 3 different times and never missed a beat. Hurt like hell for a few months, but so what.

i wish i could just break off the cast and go back at it. Im not going to be an idiot about it. I would rather be out for a month than screw my bones up and cause me problems with work and lifting heavy or anything in the future. 1 month off isnt worth screwing myself up for life or to mess it up and have the doctor have to re-break it again to fix it.

Yeah, im not going to be stupid about it. Im still wondering about the d-bol helping in the healing process or the test? Is it worth wasting the juice for this or better to just save it? Any medical advice would be much appreciated.

breaking my hand had nothing to do w/ working out. I lost my temper outside of the gym. that was it.

    Sucks.

Not sure if its worth it, but you can turn it into some sort of ultimatr cutting cycle and just do tons of cardio to shed as much BF as humanly possible. The anabolics will prevent muscle loss.

I'd personally just consider stopping the cycle. If youre only 5 weeks into it, that means you only need 5 weeks off, and of course however long your recovery is for the broken bone.

nah, im not taking any tren...blame the female that knows how to push the male to the farthest extent possible, and pushing him over the edge. no steroid is the cause of this...just the classic female b****..no pun to all females..ive dropped the cycle...i went to the doc this morning, and he said the cast would be on 4 more weeks. he said I could use it as long as i felt comfortable, so im thinking after another week or so i'll be doing weights pretty good..light weights this week...i will use it as a minor cutting time...i asked the dr. about if steroids would help in recovery and he said he wouldnt recommend b/c he's heard some steroids actually hurt bone structure and can weaken it...he's an old time doctor though, and prolly just against roids completely.

Just stay on bro....you'll be fine. And I know about the female sitch, same thing happened when I broke my hand. Funny how that works. The ultimate cutting cycle sounds pretty bad ass....didn't even think of it.

I would most likely stop my cycle and save the stuff for my first cycle after recovery. That bites bro good luck.

I would also stop the cycle, do a little pct and get myself ready for the first cycle after recovery.

Thanks guys for the input..yeah women can make ya do crazy things...it just sux b/c i was just starting to get the night sweats, and feeling the real difference in the gym, then a week later do this..it's my first cycle also which really sux...that's like getting to climax and having to pull out for a virgin...sux bad...at least i was only on them for 5 weeks, so as soon as my cast is off, it will be enough time I'm going to start again. Since the test/deca wont be really showing til about 5 weeks after i start, i figure this is plenty of time to get back lifting hard after the cast is off.

im going to post a new thread tomorrow asking something about if anyone knows medically which steroids are helpful for fractures, and which ones can hurt. I was at the doctor today, and i asked him b/c i heard d-bol could help speed the healing. He said not to take steroids, b/c some can hinder and actually weaken the bone structure. He's an old timer dr. though, so he may not be educated in this area highly. But I spoke with a physical therapist this week, and he said he's heard this also, but doesn't have concrete evidence himself, but he wasn't opposed to it. Look for another thread from me tomorrow, and i'll ask a more specific question in the title, hoping to get more educated advice.
