Been Bugging me for the longest

I got a question thats been bugging me for I don't know how long. Like when I train i get a pretty good pump to my upperbody and the veins start rushing up and its cool and all but is there a secret to getting that same roadmap look to ur legs? Or is it just something the pros do for shows and magazine articles? I know that companies make that topical lotion to bring out ur veins before a show I was just curious if theres a way to do that while training?

Lower your body fat is the only real way. Juice can increase vascularity through a process called angiogenesis. But to my knowledge it usually only pertains to increasing capillary density in muscles and has little effect on peripherial venous supply. (viens under the skin)

oh ok thanx bro, you would think ti would come easier in the legs seeing as theres more veins and capillaries and such to feed such large muscles but ohh well. At least i'm starting to get the teardrop on my inner quad which is pretty cool.

Yeah in men a large portion of our body fat is stored in the thighs. You have to remember that those bodybuilders body fats are usually sub 4% and they are dehydrated as hell when the compete. it would be pretty hard to look like that all the time. I have had my body fat as low as 5% at times and I only really ever see viens in my calves.

I have veins in my quads; hams; and calves year round... Even when i get lazy and my bodyfat is around 12%.

But this has not always been the case. When my legs were less developed, they only showed vascularity when i was ultimately shredded.

While bodyfat levels are a factor in the appearance of vascularity, development is a better marker.

The more muscle you have the greater the percevied and actual vascularity. More muscle requires a denser veinous network to supply nutrients.

    So the short story?

You want more vascular legs? Get them bigger.
