    Unhappy Uber Injured! Noooooo!!!

Oh man, can't believe this. I was carrying a new treadmill to the house.
Thing was pretty beefy, it weights total of 345Lbs with the heavy end (which I was carrying) of 285Lbs. Cold as hell out side... no warm up at all. The only way to carry this thing in is You have to flip it side ways, it is to wide to fit through the door. So I lift that crap of the ground than I had to flip it to the side while in the air!! change the grips and all that stuff. Than carry that thing inside, can't put it down because got freaking wooden floors would just scratch the sh!t out of it. Going inside first step, another one, going through the living room, daining room, now gotta go down staris to the basement! I was already feeling my back like hell. So we carry it down, obviously I had the heavy and so I HAD to hold it with both of my hands from the bottom, my buddy suppose to hold the light end and keep the balance of the deck so it would flip to the side.. well guess what... yup, he slipped and this sh!t flies to the left... I HAD to let my left arm go same second this thing was falling to the side and grab the side of it with my left arm, man that thing was comming down FAST, I gabbed it, twisted me to the side like crazy!!! All I could feel like someone just hit me with a baseball bat or crowbar on side of my mid back and try to rip me in two pieces.
I was all thight, we finally got down and put this crap down, I relaxed.... Holy crap! felt like something was just squeezing the sh!t out of my back muscle, it hurts badly. I think I pulled the hell out of it, can't really lean back because it just kills me. Left midside of my back messed up.
There is NO WAY, I am doing any back workout for at least a week. Especially not the deadlift

I need some masage or something, it feels like I have a wooden stick stuck right in my back
I can't believe this..right when I was on the roll with my lifting and everything... This sux

    That sucks man...sorry to hear!!

Ice your back for 25min then get up relax for 25min then ice again for 25min...that always helps me.

It's good to take a week off deads regardless; did that last week

Hope you heal nicely bro...probly nothing to worry too much about.

Yeah I think I should do that from now on, take a week of from deads, once a month.
Yeah, cold iceeee, good massage and some relaxing time will do it.

Gotta do my chest workout today, I think I will be feeling my back with that, especially with dips!

ah man sorry to hear about that. i have had the pleasure of carrying one myself helping my buddy move. he was like man thats not that heavy. sure 300+lbs of the most awkward device. its horrible and yes of course hardwood floors where he lived too. hope things get better. go see a chiropractor and make sure you didnt hurt yourself more than you think

next time, put some towels down on the floor and the you can slide it. I have done it many times, and my floors look great. that wouldnt have helped much with the dropping of it but, it might have given your buddy more gripping power. Nothing but forearm workouts for him from now on!!!!!

Good luck with the recovery, slow and steady.
