at the moment weve got bad snow here.i was takin my girlfriend to the docs this afternoon when this tw*t in a beemer cut me up and i skidded into a kirb.i jumped out my car opened his door and punched him in the side of the head and tried to drag him out the car but he was wearing his belt,all this while my mrs is goin nuts.
im not proud and am not on gear.....i have had anger managment but its not worth kak.
just wanna know how many oyher people struggle to conrol their tempers

To be honest I kind of grew out of it a lot... You realize when your an adult that first off, you need to act like one, second there are much more serious consequences for assaulting someone than when you were younger, and three in my mind when I think of anyone who is in their 20's or older 'fighting' it makes me think they are a low class person and of very little intelligence, basically white trash....

I have a friend who has been arrested numerous times for domestic violence and even assaulting police officers, he loses his temper and acts like a complete ****ing jackass...When he fights with his girlfriend and we goto partys he will try to stare down anyone just to start shit, and basically ruins our night...So do you really wanna continue to be THAT guy?

With all that said I have plenty of stories and I have definately had my moments, but I try my hardest to keep it under control and now I only view fighting as a last resort or for self defense only..

My point with the low class white trash was this...Most of those people have nothing to lose. You on the other hand own a business which Im assuming is somewhat lucrative since you said you live a comfortable life. Now, why would you ever put yourself in a situation where you might compromise your comfortable life? Suppose you really hurt that guy in the car today, even though you didn't intend to, and now you're gona face criminal charges AND a big ass civil lawsuit in which you might end up paying up to 6 figures... You'll really be kicking yourself in the ass when you're paying that kind of money for 2 minutes of your life that you lost your temper. Seriously bro, if you cant control yourself then start seeing a therapist or get on some meds which will chill you out, its not worth it...

but i do understand what your saying about who your getting 'involved' with i really do.
even though guns are illegal here a close friend of mine was shot in the stomach and killed by a 'tough guy' last year.so i do know the real dangers.
but thats not my question.

I'm 36 and have had a bad temper most of my life. Sometimes you let little things get you so worked up that you can't control yourself. I would just snap over BS and I would know what I was doing was wrong and stupid but I couldn't stop myself it was like I was on a mission and I was gonna complete that mission no matter what and then after it was all over I would relize how stupid and petty it was and I would feel like a fool. I do still snap once in while maybe once a year but I have learned to control myself. Sometimes yu just have to take a sec, take a breath and ask yourself is it really that big of a deal?

I use to be dim-witted and immature like this also. What turned me around was watching the news one afternoon. The story was about someone who got cut off which both cars then pulled over. The guy gets out of his car and runs to the other car to show how pissed he was. The guy in the first car shot him in the face and killed him.

Another story was about the same thing. Guy got cut off on the HW when he gave the other guy the finger he slowed down and pulled up on the passenger side of the car with a gun. The driver pointed the gun at the car and shot. The bullet hit his wife sitting in the passenger seat and killed her.

Hopefully this will make you think twice. Not only for you but also other people in your car.

That is very true, and part of the reason I have tried to control my self. Cops wont look the other way any more like they did when I was a teenager. Nothing like a night in jail to make you realize that's not who your are.

There are also alt of a-holes out there and there are times when you have to defend your self. I had some drunk dude try and hit me with a stick cuz I wouldn't give him a ride. I kicked his ass, then I called the cops my self cuz I noticed people were watching and I wanted to cover my ass.

I have a horrible temper. And its usually a gf that gets it going real bad. I would never touch a girl. I'm much better then i was years ago.

Last time i lost it was about 3 weeks ago in a lounge out with my girl and one of her friends. Some drunk guy on the dance floor kept harassing them. I said something to him 4 times. Finally i pushed him away. Later on he grabbed my arm as i was walking passed so i grabbed his throat and head butted him in the nose. The bouncers tossed him out.

She was on the phone with me tellin all the shit he was doin then when they pulled up in their car he was still doin it in front of me. Opened the door and cracked him. I like spending my spare time in place that isnt an 8 by 12 cell... I like being able to see my ladies and not being gang by inmates.... So I generally dont lose my temper and randomly attack the fvckers who screw with me... no more assault charges for me... had a few close calls and I learned from it.

If you don't have the courage and strength to protect yourselves from your own goverment how can we expect you to protect yourselves from your neighbors??? oh thats right we've been providing that protection for you for the past 60 yrs...

2.i know about dole,ive just never been on it.

4.my mom and dad are both irish,were alchoholics(as told on other thread)and once i was thrown out of home at 15 i was on my own.spent 6 months on the streets while still trying to go to school.so no im not a mollycoddled middle class tough guy wanna be.but i made a succsess of my life against the odds and noone will tell me different....

i might have a few probs but i have done better than most could in my shoes.
