honestly they have a women and a minority as their front runners. there are to many ******* in the south hating women and minorities to have that work. It is going to be a land slide. I am guessing that the war wont stop

They are not nominated yet. They are just running for the democratic election. If they pit Clinton against Guliani, she wont stand a chance. Same thing with Obama. He has too many skeletons in his closet, but then again so does Rudy.Originally Posted by tinyguy2

i know they arent nominated. but isnt a little fishy that these are the front runners? i could run aganist a minority or a women and win in this great place we call racist sexist america
racists ,small minded turds !! Perhaps a women or a minority could do a better Job than the usual type of person that gets into office!! Im sure they could do no worse.
Every other country in the world has had a minority or a woman as a leader at on time or another. Leave it the the racists sexist turds to bring this country down.
I am a Democrat
John McCain is the only Republican I would vote for...
Now would i vote for Hilary or Obama over John McCain..
that is a good question..
and I think i would still vote for McCain, just to see what he can do.. cause he's his own person, and i believe he would change things around a bit.
Problem with McCain is he is so damn old now.
so he might just die in office, leaving the office open for some homo, I believe Lieberman might actually be his running mate!!!
so that could be a complete disaster..
ok HILARY IT IS!
I hope that Lieberman is McCain's running mate. Liberman and McCain are both moderates, which is what this country needs. I just can not imagine another ticket that could beat McCain/Lieberman or McCain/Powell.Originally Posted by Pooks

I would hate to see McCain/Lieberman ticket. I think they would be the worst thing for America and would probably start war with Iran, Syria, other countries.
how so? I hope that your not just being an anti-semite.........Originally Posted by mcpeepants

How am I being an anti-semite? McCain and Lieberman are two of the most hawkish politicians. Both support the war, probably more so than Bush, support the troop surge, and if Bush bombs Iran, I bet they'll be giving Bush applause and praise.Originally Posted by Logan13
Good to hear that !!Originally Posted by king6
they haven't been nominated, they've been hyped by the corporate media, and of course corporate america prefers republicans to democrats (lthough the dem's will do in a pinch).
John McCain would be an awesome President
why not tell us who you would like to see on the ticket.Originally Posted by mcpeepants

personally I'd like to see Nader run again and I'd probably vote for him again if he did. I'll also look at libertarian, green party, and independent candidates. Based on the front runners on both party, I'll definitely be voting for a third party candidate.Originally Posted by Logan13

I agree with that, except for joe biden (he's poor candidate in my oppinion), American still has sometime (years) before it overcomes racism and sexism to vote for a minority or a womanOriginally Posted by Doc.Sust
ok, why so anti biden?Originally Posted by mcpeepants

Just because people don't vote for the front runners has lil too do with their race.
You have Mrs. Clinton who has some seriously retarded stances and borderlines on socialist
then you have Obama which may be a good candidate but how about you let the guy get some experience before you put him in office... i mean sheesh... dont' give the keys to a new lamborgini right after they get there license.
It's a shame that thinks to "party politics" that people will want to vote "democrat" just because of past republicans actions in the white house and house. Oh well...
For those of you who do follow politics (not the party politics "blah blah blah i'm a democrat...i'm a republican" but really follow)... McCain runnign for pres... i so hope he wins the presidency... he's a shoe in to the republican candidate.

It is unbelievable that there are people that actually think Hilary is qualified to run for the democratic ticket. What is this country coming to?
Biden new the consequences of what might happen in Iraq and still voted for it. He knew better. He still supports the war and continues to fund it. He's Iraq partition idea is poor and amounts to ethnic cleansing.Originally Posted by Doc.Sust

Here is something that confuses me. Obama is 50-50 black-white correct? Why does he keep pushing how he is black?
because the white part of him is not news worthy............Originally Posted by gixxerboy1

maybe he wants to lose? it doesnt make sense, the democrats are going to lose again because they arent playing the cards right, the society we live in isnt liberal enough to vote for either of themand the conservatives will never vote for obama or clinton. as a liberal myself, i thin it is sad that they cant see the writing on the wall and they are going to tank this election. IMO we need a change, and i think the democratic party can provide this, but they need a better canidate, if they would have had a better canidate than Keri last election, we wouldnt be in this mess with bush right now, he wouldnt have been re-elected, obviously, the democrats havent learned from their mistakes and once again the country will sufferOriginally Posted by gixxerboy1
Problem With McCain is he'll probably get more dems to vote for him than republicans. He is a republicrat and barely conservative on any issue. It seems the further left the democrats go, the further let republicans go in an attempt to assuage the disparity. Fact of the matter is Democrats aren't democrats, they are left wing extremists who either want anarchy or communism. The problem with republicans is that they are taking on liberal ideas to try to be centrists and thats not how it's done. For conservatives sickened by republicans, the only hope is Santorum in a few years, but for now all we have for comfort is a few books by Coulter and Michael Savage on the radio.Originally Posted by Pooks
As far as dems wanting to lose, any logical creature on this planet is going to defeat who ever the dems throw into the race. After Bill Clinton's atrocities, I couldn't imagine the electorate putting another Clinton in power.

Maybe we should start a tally for folks who have money on Israelis being slaghutered in the next few years. Anyone with a fundamental love for humanity would want to protect the Jews. The hatred expressed, not only in the holocaust, but also pogroms of russia and such are revolting in nature. It would take a twisted philosophical argument by a democrat to substantiate such an argument. No matter who does the killing, regardless of nation, creed, religion or race, they must be stopped.Originally Posted by mcpeepants

Colin Powell, not so much. But Condi is brilliant. Powell has some issues with the social state of america.Originally Posted by cj1capp

When will we say there goes a man walking down the street. Any advantage given to anyone on the basis of race is racism. The fact that some folks have a propensity to live in bad neighborhoods is more a matter of class than anything. I come from such a situation.
Condi is great!
