They are not nominated yet. They are just running for the democratic election. If they pit Clinton against Guliani, she wont stand a chance. Same thing with Obama. He has too many skeletons in his closet, but then again so does Rudy.

personally I'd like to see Nader run again and I'd probably vote for him again if he did. I'll also look at libertarian, green party, and independent candidates. Based on the front runners on both party, I'll definitely be voting for a third party candidate.

I'd prefer to see Rep. Kucinich or Rep. Barbara Lee as the democratic presidential candidate and former Senator Lincoln Chafee or Rep. Ron Paul as the republican candidate.

maybe he wants to lose? it doesnt make sense, the democrats are going to lose again because they arent playing the cards right, the society we live in isnt liberal enough to vote for either of themand the conservatives will never vote for obama or clinton. as a liberal myself, i thin it is sad that they cant see the writing on the wall and they are going to tank this election. Problem With McCain is he'll probably get more dems to vote for him than republicans. He is a republicrat and barely conservative on any issue. It seems the further left the democrats go, the further let republicans go in an attempt to assuage the disparity. Fact of the matter is Democrats aren't democrats, they are left wing extremists who either want anarchy or communism. The problem with republicans is that they are taking on liberal ideas to try to be centrists and thats not how it's done. For conservatives sickened by republicans, the only hope is Santorum in a few years, but for now all we have for comfort is a few books by Coulter and Michael Savage on the radio.
As far as dems wanting to lose, any logical creature on this planet is going to defeat who ever the dems throw into the race. After Bill Clinton's atrocities, I couldn't imagine the electorate putting another Clinton in power.

Maybe we should start a tally for folks who have money on Israelis being slaghutered in the next few years. Anyone with a fundamental love for humanity would want to protect the Jews. The hatred expressed, not only in the holocaust, but also pogroms of russia and such are revolting in nature. It would take a twisted philosophical argument by a democrat to substantiate such an argument. No matter who does the killing, regardless of nation, creed, religion or race, they must be stopped.

Colin Powell, not so much. But Condi is brilliant. Powell has some issues with the social state of america.
I hate when people make race an issue. Its like the "two african-american coach" thing in the NFL. I have been a big fan of Dungy since he was with the bucs, but I never looked at him as a black guy. I think people who point to race for any reason must contain some element of racism. As Martin Luther King said, when will we not say there goes a black man or a white man walking down the street? When will we say there goes a man walking down the street. Any advantage given to anyone on the basis of race is racism. The fact that some folks have a propensity to live in bad neighborhoods is more a matter of class than anything. I come from such a situation.
