Just eat the whole food. Like oats. Either way a few days will not hurt you. Worst case just buy premixed drinks.
You can still use dex without whey. There is no rule saying you have to use them together. Its still protein, doesnt matter if its coming in powder form or not. Just like having a steak and drinking gatorade with it, perfectly fine.
If you want to have a "shake" then drink your egg whites with dex mixed in as a PWO shake.
