    Arrow 48hrs later-Thigh in Hell!

    oh boy! did my 2nd frontload shot of 500mgs Test E into my thigh bout 48hrs ago.... 1st 24hrs were fine, just felt like a lil muscle cramp - but damn that's a different story now!!! last 12hrs or so my thigh felt like it s been bit up with a damn baseball bat and i can hardly walk never mind anything else! there are no lumps or red patches though - so is this the much discussed "virgin muscle syndrome" .... f*** not wanting to sound like a whingin lil bitch but I m goin back to glutes for sure on Monday! i ve already started putn heat packs and deep heat cream on bout to sitn in a nice hot bath for the next hour or so!
    how long u guys reckon that soreness can last?

    Virgin muscle you whinging bitch It gets easier dude believe me. Did you do the shot in the side of the thigh or the top. ?

    i was expecting to get shot down for that did on top mate ... was all good the 1st 24hrs like said then it kicked in will put another heat pack on now and then go for a work out later .... sitn round doin f***all wont help...

    On top sucks dude. I did that for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it fvcking killed me. I have no problems on the side but again it could be virgin muscle in my case as well. Give the sides of the quad ago.

    Kale is right it gets easier.
    The first time I used my delts I used winny - can you say mistake.
    The first and only time I tried my calves - I did it with winny can you say idiot masochist? Well needless to say I won't use winny on virgin muscle anymore. I'm veering away from winny anyway cause of the hdh/ldl thing.

    will do - thx for the advice mate. since it's my first run & i m only shooting twice/week i ll go back to glutes on Monday for a start ... 1st shot there went fine will give quad sides a try a lil later - want my thigh to recover 1st

    jagdpanther - damn! that sure sounds like a bucket full of pain! man i m known to have done and still do some crazy shit in my life but believe you me i ll steer well clear of calves, that's for sure after all i have heard ....

    Kale - from your previous experience you reckon it's ok to hit the gym with that thigh or would it be better to give it a days rest?

    Also, if your soreness is due to IM inflammation, you may want to try a good NSAID to help releive the soreness while it persists.

    I was nearly on crutches at one time from a quad injection...nearly fell on my face when I got up the next day. I had a couple 500mg etodolac tablets lying around and took two of them and the pain was nearly gone within an hour or so.

    Etodolac is a scripted drug tho, so I think your next best bet would to pop no more than 800mg of ibuprofen, and that should help relieve some of the soreness.

    thx for the advice! unfortunately all places are closed in this damn country over the weekend ... so i ll have to wait till Monday!

    10 for me when i hit on top of thigh...two days were spent in bed with an icepack...it's all downhill from there I promise

    Its OK to workout and it might even help losen it up a bit

    Yep, at least some ibruprofen. You can get it at 7-11

    hey that's interesting info! i ve never heard bout that before but sure good to know! is there anywhere i can read up on that particular issue? i ll just keep slammin on the heat packs and deep heat cream for now
