retin a micro vs. mederma..

ok i got a prescription for retin a micro and i know u can get mederma at any cvs but which one do u think is best for acne scars? like will fade them the fastest, and is thier anything else out thier, medicine wise or even surgery wise??? summers gettin close and i want my back clean. thnx in advance

I have some Retin A and I believe the doc said it was for the blackheads....Im not sure about scars. If you have acne scars on your back, try out Mederma.

Also, that Nizoral, or something like that. Its shampoo, but use it to wash your back. Im not sure about acne scars, but acne, it will get rid of within a week or so.

I've heard good things about both. The only problem with Retin A Micro is that it's EXPENSIVE! Check with the pharmacy to see what it would cost you after insurance (if you have it), and if it's not too bad, go for it. You could also try Vitamin E (break a capsule open and rub it on the scar).
