Remembrance Tattoo

Hi Guys (and gals)

Was thinking of adding another tattoo in remembrance of my mom.

any thoughts or suggestions will help. this is my fav so far, but not sure where it would go. without the word ANGELS on it of coarse

i got one when my mom passed also. get one that means something to you & only you-that will symbolize or make u think positively.

I got the chinese symbol for strength- to help keep me mentally strong as well as physically...& reminds me how strong she was.

These are the current tats now. both shoulders and top of back.

not sure I want to put anything on my chest yet so not sure where to go

well the only other areas that spring to mind would be forearm, or just above your belly button

i would say probally somewhere on the fore arm, you dont have too many choice spots left, other than the chest

Yea bro, your runnin out of canvas! I think the design is sick, but it's hard to say how it would turn out after being drawn up (different colors and shading). I think it would look good on the chest if your ready to do that. If not, mabye the forearm like these guys said, but that would just be becasue you have no more room, not becasue of top choice. My boy got a large collage of an angel on the entire inside of his bicep (his dad passed), and it looked really good. Have them trace it out and throw it on the different areas and see which looks best.

btw, your current work looks great, especially the right delt

thanks.......there is the possibility of doing it on calves or side of calves, haven't gone there yet.

I worry about forearms for professional reasons, so far I can cover up all the ink and look professional when needed but forearm would me long sleeves all the time and that just aint me

Yo, SMAN, The only problem i see is that you might need a dark back ground for the mid section, under the wings, and face, and yellow is a hard color to maintain.. Also the eyes looking up might be a problem to see, i was thinking maybe to color it black/grey, but that might take away from the beauty of the tat and dedication.. You could also put it on you rib cage ( painful as a m/f'r ) For six months ive been looking for a tat for the same reason ( mom, dad, and my brother ) but im so sick of the dedication tat's... It is a beautiful Angel..

The reason i ask for the picture was that it looked like a great dedication piece ( different ) But also a friend of mine wants to get a tat of an angel, ( thats his name ) but he or i cant find anything then i seen this.. If i find time tomorrow i'll shoot over to one of my guys he's only a couple of minutes from me.

Calf would look good, I wont get anything that I cant cover in short sleeves and pants, never know where life will turn and what kind of job you'll need to get. But like DNOMAC said just have them put it different places till you find what YOU like best.

Im tired of the rest in peace, in loving memory, its played out, im thinking i would put Mom the date of birth and the date she died, but even thats overkill, i want to find a nice piece and put Mom, Dad and John ( my brother ) But ive learned i have to take my time, till im really sure..

Bro no offence but for a tattoo the angle in your avy is really plain,Go to the tattoo shop bro and look threw there books theres prob tons of em there really nice ones to choose from and I would personally get it on my chest over my heart It just gives the tat that much more meaning good luck bro
