Read that a few days ago...I was impressed actors would bust their asses like that too..
my wife saw a promo and said they were doing 90 pullups in a set for "punishment". just awesome that these actors worked that hard for the movie.
Alot of it had to do with makeup, lighting and graphics, I saw some of the guys in fitness for men and they didnt look anything like in the movie.
what? a little of it had to do w/ lighting/makeup IMO.

ummm the whole movie was computer airbrushed so how would you know they didn't airbrush these actors too?Originally Posted by ru-ga-ru

any idea where to find this routine?
yea they have a rather intresting article about the workout in Men's Health this month
According to this article some of the ideas came form his current trainer, Manhattan-based Joe Dowdell, C.S.C.SOriginally Posted by IIIIIIIIIIII

"10-12 hours a day" how to you not catabolize into a prune on that regimine for 4 months straight, I dont get it.
yeah i just read the article about it in Mens Health a few days back. Pretty crazy.
True. I really didnt want them to be huge though. Im sure some people were going into the movie expecting them to all be massive and everything. I like movies to be portrayed somewhat realistically to their time period. Its not like there were a bunch of 250lb ripped up dudes fighting in the year 300 b.c.Originally Posted by Hellmask
yeah they were ripped and shit but not BIG by any means..Originally Posted by Sta11ion
what do you guys think about dl blind folded,
Think about it, lets say your blindfolded, I bet you could lift alot more than yoou think you can.
I know when I get ready to Dead Lift close to my working max its alot easier if I dont think about it and just pick it up vs if I try to phsquick myself up it always feels heavier.
I like the idea of it but i don't know if i want to but a blindfold on in the middle of the gym well my buddy stacks wiehgt on people will think your nuts or somthingOriginally Posted by MFT81
true, these guys werent 10 second sprinters,i mean how many top heavy weight boxers are/were ripped to the bone????Originally Posted by chest6
they are built for a job (tyson) and not to look pretty (pitt)
and i prefer a little realism and hard work in my movies by the actors
