My incline chest is slow to come about!

I Currently do chest on mondays I start off with 4 sets incline db or bar switch weekly then 3 sets incline flys, then 3 sets flat bench, 3 sets decline cable pulls.

Where is my upper chest???? its lagging behind and Im starting to become frustrated. Is that symmetry line do to having a low b/f?

Any advice to build mass on my incline would be of help. Thanks guys

Do some digging around in the workout/training forum...I'm sure there is bountiful info in that forum on how to better target the area you're lagging at.

    Good luck,

13 sets for your chest sounds like a lil bit of over training to me

genetics do play a big part. keep prioritising upper chest, then look back in 3 years and see how far its come on.

ive been doing barbell bench press to the neck, lying the opposite way on the bench, so feet and ass/lower back are off the bench. got the idea from Nark somewhere down the line. had seen it done for years but never tried it as i thought it would kill my shoulders, but i read narks thread and have been doi9ng it ever since

Sounds interesting...do you do this in replacement of flat barbell bench?

Have you noticed any changes since you incorporated that into your workout?

if you want some decent chest workouts or even workouts in general check out...

www.abc-b-od-y-b-uil-ding.c-om and take out the hyphens...go to the top to exercises and click slide-show exercises and they even show how to conduct each lift. Under workouts they have some great workouts that target specific bodyparts. Also browse for some supersets and other shocking methods....

Remember that technique plays a very important role when trying to target specific areas...isolation is also crucial.

dude, if the god given muscle fibers are not their, or are not great, their aint shit you can do about it. once a weak bodypart, always a weak bodypart....the weakest part of your body will still look weak proportioned to the rest of you if you had 50 pounds more muscle on your frame. Now, by gaining overall muscle, sure you can substantially better that weak bodypart, but it will never be amazing.

    bingo.

I could quit training chest and only do pushups and keep decent size..genetics I guess..my chest grows like a weed. Far quicker than anything else on my body..thus you get my username.

Arms on the other hand..won't budge.

Genetics do play a LARGE part...but it can be improved
