Woohooo I got a Part Time Job!! Finally!

Got a job at the Fareway Meat department, its not a bad job around here, especially part time 8.50 an hour and most part time is between 6-7. Not to mention I might be able to snag some cheap meat at the end of the week when they clean out the meat racks I need the money since my wife is pregnant and having another baby!

At least it is a start. If you need money now, you don't have the luxury of waiting around for a good job.

I believe he is 23 or 24. So he wont go into the Guiness book of world records as the youngest man to have kids. It is not easy to find a job sometimes, you don't have the luxury of being picky when you have mouths to feed.

Ok for everyone Curious, Heres my life story in a nut shell. Im 23 going to be 24 this year, wife is 23 going to be 24 also. We have a little girl that is going to be 1 next month. She was on the pill we didn't mean to have this second kid, shit happens you move on. I am going to school full time with the Montgomery GI Bill paying my way for college. Because I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps. My wife has a full time job as an underwriter tech at an insurance company. Here's how we are going to make it. #1 My school is about 2k a semester, I get $1225 a month for the GI Bill, over a 4 month semester that is roughly 5K so I get paid 3K to go to school. Plus now with this part time job ill make another $700 a month take home. My wife makes 23K a year. So were making about 35K now, and your probably thinking how in the hell do they live on 35K a year with a baby, and one on the way? Here is how, Both of our vehicles are paid for, 2- 8 month tours of Tax free money will pay off cars pretty quick!! We bought our house for 40K (its not a shack either, its a 2400sqft 4bedroom 3 bath house) and put 10K down so our payments are $380 a month for 15 years, that includes insurance and property taxes. I live in Iowa so we don't need much. In the summer or fall I hope to start going to work full time and taking night classes and a few online to get my Bachelors Degree, Im 5 classes away from my A.A. right now. Thats my life in a nut shell. Is it going to be tough being 24 with 2 kids, yeah, but If i can make it now with a part time job, just think what I'll be working with when Im making 35-50K after I get my bachelors and our house is paid for. Basically just do whatever I want the rest of my life, probably start buying some rentals and maybe investing like crazy? Open a gym? Once your house is paid for life is usually pretty skate!!! Peace guys, and thanks for the props, I know its just a gay little part time job, but I dont feel like a piece of shit for not havign one now. Later

^^^^ Dont worry about it man, you didn't know, just don't be to quick to judge. I could very easily try to get a full time job and forget about my degree, and it would make things easier now, but id rather bust my ass now and make it better forever. Just hope I can stick it out!
