Cut your workout in half and workout less days a week.Originally Posted by I_wanna_be_govenor2
Post your exact training routine in detail
Well, at 250 pounds and 15 percent bodyfat - you would be bench pressing much more than that. If you can get your bench up to 405 or so - then you should hit your bodyweight goal.Originally Posted by I_wanna_be_govenor2
There are a lot of variable on how to get there - mental, physical and nutritional... as well as mechanical - make sure your are performing the movement correctly.
adopt a p.l. style routine not only for bench but all parts, your body is prob screaming for reduced volume at 6days aweek for three hours aday.
Over training
I agree on overtraining.....hey warrior what's a ideal bench for 225 ........my max bench is 385.........sorry for the hi-jack lol...
monday (bi's, tri's and traps) tuesday (chest and back) wed (legs, cardio)
thur (bi's tri's and traps) Friday (chest and back) saturday (legs, carido) sunday (off day)
His goal is to weigh 250, I don't think he is near that if having issues with that weight.
Are you juicing? what do you weigh?
Try switching to one body part/ 1 time per week and don't combine body parts in your work out.
Close grips on tri day.

this post didn't make too much sense to me... maybe I read it wrong. Is this guy saying he wants to weigh 250 and can't bench 245? Cus I'm not strong by any means, and I'm 165 and can bench 265
he said his goal is to weigh 250. He didnt state his current weight. He said he currently benches 245..
overtraining big time. 3 hours in the gym will make you smaller not bigger. Try 45-60 mins.
Yeah dude. Definately cut your time in the gym down. You are moving in the opposite direction that you want to go. Alot of people say light weight high reps.
I say do moderate to heavy with lower reps.
Bigger weight builds bigger muscle and muscle burns fat.
Eat clean and train hard but, try to keep your work outs down to 45 - 60 minutes.
Here is a good intermediate work out program that works wonders on building mass and strength:

Your body grows when at rest and you are not giving it near enough between workouts and bodyparts
I'm pretty sure he means that he wants his bodyfat at least as low as 15%.Originally Posted by oneshot
Also, I'll go ahead and jump on the bandwagon. Overtraining.
