Hey guys, this is a retarded injury, but here goes: a few months ago I was swimming with my kids and walking through water that was probably a little higher than my belly button. I was crouched such that the water was at about shoulder level and suddenly I felt pain in my right hip. It was almost like a strain feeling. I assumed that I had lifted my right leg and the resistance of the water had just caused me to strain a muscle or tendon somewhere in my hip. The pain subsided a few days later, but it persists anytime I lift my thigh to the front of my body - as when lifting my leg to put on socks or shoes, etc. I trained legs for the first time since the injury a few days ago and it hurts to squat (leg extensions and curls are fine, as are straight leg deads). Any idea on how to work this injury out? Should I see a doc / physio?
