Did the Gov jack my gear? My source wrote me saying "aprox 4 days
from China, no siganture ever required on orders with us" and low and behold, the order comes this morning and they are requiring a signature? This means it got jacked, yes? What should I do? They left a note on the door saying "please call us, we need instructions from you" etc. It looks like a legit DHL note thing. Luckily I was asleep this morning when it came so I didn't have to deal with this in person. I spent quite a bit of money on this package too, so what the phack do I do? just walk away?

Check with your source about the sig. - I've had even the best guy i know make mistakes before. He never used DHL though.

the courier that had the tracking was ***, the note says ***, not sure if that has an significance.

Do you have experience with a controlled delivery? does it take a while for them to set that up?
I can call them, see what they say, should I? can do it right now.

Thanks for the concern, before i posted that info I changed all the times, but to be sure I just earased it all, just the info there now.


I JUST called them, they are telling me to sign the slip and leave it at the door so they can drop it off tomorrow.... Should I do that ? I can sign it funky like "Joe Blow" or something.... any thoughts?

Youre fine. It takes a lot of time and money for the govt. to set up a controlled delivery.

Dont sweat it. However, anytime you do have gear delivered, clean your house of everything!

Never had a DHL delivery for something like this, but always had to sign for their deliveries. If I wasn't there, they left a note like what you have. I could sign the note and they would drop off or go to local office and sign and pickup. You have described their standard proceedure.

how big was your order?...if it's small I wouldn't worry at all

Update: Got the package this morning. I signed the thingie and left it on the door. Got chinese writing all over it, so I guess its ok. No one has stormed my house yet, haha. I am happy so far. Thanks for all your quick responses and insight.
