Humulin-R is ok, a lot better than humulin-N. Its not my first choice, I always use Humalog, its the fastest acting and effects you for the least amount of time. Humulin can still have effect in your body up to 12 hours after administration, unlikely that you would actually have a problem but I still think Humalog is better.

I'd keep researching as much as possible. I'm not a big fan of Humulin-R, especially for a first time cycle. After you thoroughly research Slin, I'd recommend trying Humalog for a first time run.
