While doing heavy 4 to 6 rep squats, is it ok to pause( rest ) for a couple seconds in between reps? Or is there more of a benefit to keep going non stop no pause on top? Powerlifters, what is your technique?

yes it is ok to pause and actually better so you can bust out those last forced reps
the pause is good to catch your breath. if you do non stop reps, you can get out of breath real easy.
