They'll test you if they suspect you're juicing. Alot of people believe that you won't get popped but that's not the case. All they have to do is send you to medical to get your blood drawn to check your hormone levels. But regular drug test don't test for AAS.
When you first join they wont test you for AAS. Further down the line you might get tested, but it's up to your commander's discretion.
The extent to which the military tests for AAS is so rare that it is safe to say you'll never be tested. Random military urinalysis tests for illicit drug use and even then when command wide sweeps are done random specimens are selected from the entire lots.
That type of blood testing would waste so much time and money it isn't even funny.
hell my uncles is in the army not rangers though he is a medic and he always tell me they encourage the use of juice, espically during times of war since it enhances your preformance. That is all hear say of course but he is a medic so i wouldnt rule it out.

Sorry about not using search. I'm a newbie. And kind of stupid. Ive got another question. Couldn't find anything about it when I searched. I don't want to get bitched at so I won't start a new thread.
In a situation where a soldier was tested and caught what are the consequences? Dishonorable dis?
I got an other than honorable. But I didn't fail a drug test for steroids, they sent me to medical to check my hormone levels and they came back all jacked up. I admitted to using and my CO just took me to Mast and busted me down and kicked me out. It took about a year for the whole process but they still paid to have my stuff moved and paid for my trip home.Originally Posted by greatwhitehunter
It may be diffrent as enlisted, but as an officer i've never been tested. I've heard the same thing that your CO can have you tested if he suspects, but i would think they would have to have some sort of credible proof before they have you tested, they can't just say the guy's got a lot of muscles and decide to test him.
