    Cardio treadmill

    i feel like a pussy i can't jog @ 6mph for more then 10min then i need to turn the speed down so i walk yet i can ride the bike at 95 rpms i am also not using the rails when walking on a incline

    sorry for ranting but should i just keep at it or walk and try to work my way up?

    There is nothing wrong with speed walking, thats all I do for cardio. I will only run if I dont have a lot of time to do cardio which will burn calories but doesn't tap into fat like low intensity cardio does for a longer period of time. Low intensity cardio is optimal for burning fat if you have the time for it.

    You should try running intervals, try doing a fast walk for one minute, then running for 2 minutes over and over and over again. And then you can increase the runtime slowly until you can run the whole cardio session

    Heart rate and duration is more important than speed.

    95 rpms? whats ur wattage out put i can pedal 95 on setting 1 and my heart rate wouldnt hit 110..........but if my power out put is around 180+ watts THEN i start gettin my heart rate up there....i like cycling over walking any day...easier on my knees but u cant judge bikes just by rpms
