shaving head

I was wanting to shave my head for summer. I'm 23 and losing my hair. My question is is it ok to shave my head and still use my minoxidil? I would like to keep using it so when I grow my hair back out it may come out thicker, that is if I shave it now, some may not come back. I'm not going down with the razor or nothing, just a no guarder. I just dont want to lose anymore hair that I could possibly keep

i personally couldnt see how cutting it close would cause you to loose any more than you would naturally

The causes of hair loss are in no way related to cutting or shaving your head so I don't think it will be a problem.

You can shave your hair all you want and it's not going to cause any further hair loss. The minoxidil will help, but honestly its a shot in the dark and the results are very sporadic and will never meet your expectations.

The good thing is that the shaved look is "in" and it is also a sign of confidence- shows you are comfortable and confident in yourself in my opinion. Anyway, happy shaving or trimming and don't lose any sleep over it.
