When do they start hurting? What exercises? Let me guess Skull crushers?
Hey mine start to hurt during skull crushers. I keep my elbows in as much as i can, but they still tend to hurt. Any thoughts?
It's tendonidious, read this thread

mine hurts doing skull crushers too. keepin my elbows in don't help either. some say to keep the weight over the eye brow, but for me the pain is eased a lil'bit when I keep it at about the hair line. and like the thread shared by rana173. it seams starting off with light light weight and alot of reps will help. I did'nt think about aspirin though. I'm going to try it out for sure.
could also be some sort of sports induced arthritis like people get on their distal clavicles from doing heavy bench presses
straight bar curls kill my elbows...preacher bar only for me
For you guys who said your elbows hurt during skulls, Mine do to..
the #1 prob most guys have is using to much weight, The recruit to much forearm and front delt instead of tris.
1. Either get rid of the exercise, (Victor Martinez had the same prob and says he ditched it)
2. Use it at the end of your workout with a light weight after doing other exercises, Also try doing them on a low incline so your in a stronger angle than lying flat or decline.
if it isnt skull crushers then it could be from locking out when doing heavy weight exercises (ie. bench, shoulder press)
