    PWO-help

I am 5'11", 195, and 21. I am not to sure on this but i am probably around 15-16& bodyfat. Thats what it says on the body calculators. I would like to lean bulk, and I lift about 5-6 times a week.I wouldn't mind losing some weight either. I do one body part a day, and sometimes work on areas I want to improve twice a week. I am starting to eat 6 meals a day, with 2 protein shakes incorporated into the 6 meals. I usually only eat carbs when I wake up (oatmeal or yogurt), and PWO. I am eating a lot of leans meats, and vegetables. Would the cup of brown rice, 7 oz. of tuna, and an egg be a good PWO meal? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you're planning on bulking, I'd eat more than 4 meals + 2 shakes. Post your diet in the diet forum for critique so we can be of further help.

That meal looks Ok, just drop the egg. You don't want fat PWO.

like AandF said... i wouldn't eat an egg PWO... only lean protein and carbs. I normally do a protein/carb shake and some 4-5 rice cakes. You should take in twice the amount of carbs per every gram of protein... and i like to take in some veggies during my PPWO nutrition as well.

you should have a diet plan to follow daily, If you do not then you will struggle, check the diet forum stickies for ideas.
IMO a liquid PWO shake with 2;1 carbs/pro followed 1 hour later by a meal such as the one you mention is the best PWO.

I'm not sure whats write and wrong but otheres disagree with that ratio as you can see from another thread by a respected member of this site:

This is not true at all. There is no magic ratio, I would never take in that much after a workout.

It totally ***ends on the individual bro.

I have done everything for PWO as far as high GI vs. low GI, 2:1, 1:1, BCAAs followed by a meal.

Nothing in this game is set in stone. Pick something which fits into your daily macros stick with it, and adjust if neccessary. I started off with 2:1 ratio when I did my first cut and it worked wonders...
