    Is Minoxidil without Hairloss Alright?

    Hello,
I am about to start my second cycle of Test Prop (150mg EOD) and TBOL (50mg ED) and I am somewhat concerned about hairloss. My mom's father had mail pattern balndess and my brother has a receeding hariline so I'm a little bit wary of losing my hair. My first cycle of Sust250, Test Prop, and DBOL did not yield any noticeable hairloss, but I had an itchy scalp at times and I also used Finesteride to help prevent hairloss.

Anyway, I'm trying to avoid any hairloss if possible so for this cycle I'm going to be using 0.5mg Dutasteride 2x daily (morning and evening) along with Nizoral Shampoo. I also purchased Minoxidil foam, but I don't know if it would be a bad thing to start it if I haven't really started the cycle and seen any hairloss. I just want to do everything I can to keep my hair. I am 23 years old.

    Thanks for your help.

    Best Regards,
    -Tank75

ive been using haircare products for years now - and i've never gone on any cycles...

minoxidil will make your hair grow thicker and faster - but it will NOT prevent it from falling out/miniaturizing due to DHT.

In your case, since you're already using DUT i wouldnt bother taking minoxidil... you're aleady stopping the process of MPB from the source and not necssarily trying to re-grow NEW hair.. just trying to keep what you have..

often what happens is the area's you start applying minoxidil to become ***endent on the chemical itself... so unles you wanna use this stuff regularily, dont use it unless you dont have to.. again you're just keeping what you got, not trying to grow more.. stick with the dustasteride in itself and a topical inhibitor like nizorol should do the trick

Hmm.....Minoxidil.....many misconceptions on this substance......tot ell u the truth they are not really misconceptions, they are mysteries, even the people who make it have no clue what exactly about it makes it work!

But what is known is that it has two different effects:

1-On current hair, it prevents further hairloss because it somehow keeps your hair follicules in the growth cycle as long as you are using it.

2-On newly grown hair (usually very thin fuzz) this hair is minoxidil ***endent and will fall out when u stop using it.

So technically speaking, if u do use minoxidil during a cycle then your hair will not go into the dormant or telogen final phases which excess dht causes it to go into, hence u will not lose hair. And seeing as you are not losing any hair now to start off with then its a good precaution to take, plus your hair wont become minoxidil ***endant because your hair was originally there before the cycle...the trick part is to continue using it untill your DHT levels have returned to normal (a bit after PCT even) and that way when u stop the minoxidil then yoru body doesnt enter any type of shock its just going back to normal when it wasnt falling off anyway.
