They say to cut carbs out after 6 but i finish my training session around 7-7.30 so should i still take in my carbs at that time as i will need them.

Concentrate on total daily macros, so how those specfic carbs fit within your whole diet.
i just stick to the no carbs before bed I always eat carbs after six though
