Surplus Arimidex-exp. Date?

I have a good deal of astra zeneca arimidex in 1mg tabs (30 per bottle) and the expiration dates are good but I don't think I'll be able to use by the dates due to the quantity on hand.

My question is the expiration date extremely important for the potency of the med?

it should be good for a long time after expiration if stored properly.

Hospitals and doctors offices will not throw away expired medication they donate it and it will used even if its expired.
