this will probably get answered better in the diet forums.... but the answer is that it just ***ends on who makes the b vitamin there are flavored sublinguals and there are non flavored pills which are intended to disolve in the stomach, not to taste

I guess thats down the who manufactures it in the first place, I doubt it very much its fake B12 because its very cheap to buy anyway.
