    Knee Injury

    Hi guys

Last night, my patella seemed like it dislocated and than popped back into place. I slipped on a flight of slippery stairs. It really scared me, it has happened to me once before. Although it was sore at first, I am still able to walk on it just fine although its still a bit sore. Today I had some soreness at the inner side of my patella(knee cap).

I think im going to see the doctor and im wondering what exercises I can do to strengthen the muscles surrounding the knee cap. I always hear its important to strengthen the vastus medialis(inner quadriceps). Alot of people seem to have disproportionate quadricep muscles. There outer quadricep muscles overpower their inner.

Im actually pretty worried about this because its a scary feeling to have your kneecap dislocate the way it did.

Im sorry if I rambled on and hopefully people understand what I wrote.

I had that happen man and it caused me trouble for ages because i went to physical therapy for AGES hoping the feeling will go back to normal and it never did, you just have to live with it if the doctor clears you then just leve with it and strengthen it but dont exepect it to feel 100% normal again. Mine pops every morning in the shower.
