well i have always mixed w/ dex...

now i hear of vitragro a lot... since this has 60 grams of carbs per serv, but no actual sugar, is this still better to use for pwo? i don't get it

well, i always used dex, and thanx for the compliment.... but i heard the waxy starch stuff works better than dex,, i'm just wondering if that means i can use that entirely instead of dex,,, hmmmmm

it's definately another option. I have not tried wazy maize, but I have played around with PWO. I use to be all about dex, until I tried other things- oats, bagel, etc....I probably wouldn't go back to dex...I just feel as though there are many options, as opposed to 60 grams of sugar PWO.

That being said, I did have great success, even cutting, with dex. I just hated the "crashing" feeling which I experienced after my PWO shake.

This is just my two cents; and, as the other guys said, you're looking great...playing around with different PWO options wouldn't hurt you at all, I would say.

i have found that what works best for me is mixing my whey with oats for PWO shake. dex gave me the shakes so i stopped using it.

I use Torrent for my PWO shake. Here are a few of the key ingredients: hydrolyzed whey protein, waxy maize starch, maltodextrin, and dextrose.

I've been using it for about 2 months now and no shakes or crashing feelings-Its only 30 dollars at BB.com.
