The uncertainty of quad injections: Crapshoot!

In my experience, you just never know how they are going to go. When I do toward the top of the legs it's usually easy sailing. I went just a little lower and my leg totally spasmed. It hurt big time. Then there was one injection that had mild pain but the following day it was so sore I limped. Damn. Never a problem with delts (side and front) or glutes.

Screw quads! You never know what the hell you will get. The same shot will get a totally difference reaction each time. One time no pain, next you can't break the skin without shots of pain, third your muscle will twich uncontrollably... I will hit chest before quads.

Mike you really do front delts???

when I hit quads I hit a tiny bit outside of the top. if u stood in front of a mirror and divided the front of ur quad into three I would shoot in the third closest to my hand on either side. smooth sailing everytime. I learned whre my squiggly vein runs in both legs and I have it down.

Upper outer leg? Angled around the curve a bit? Good tip. I'll try that.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question but does it help the muscle where you inject more than others? Like if one were to inject both delts would delts use more gear, therefore getting bigger than if glute injections were used? Or do people just spread around injection sites because of frequency of use?

not not with estered gear anyhow, unesterd (base) is said to work in that way but ive never tried base so i cant say iether way,and yes site rotation is to lessen scarring and give the muscle chance to recover,1x week each site is the norm

Thats hilarious I have exactly the same issues but with opposite legs. I shot my left quad on Monday (the bad one), and I had an instant huge lump, bled like a stuck pig and now have a huge bruise, I rarely have a good shot in the left quad. And almost never a problem in the right

5-ish weeks ago I had a left shot go to cellutitis I shot a tad lower and to the outside. First time shooting there. ........I waited 3 days. Could barely walk. I had to go to ER, get shot, then keflex dosed at 2000mg ED, after 5 days i couldnt handle the sides of the meds. Infection was and is gone, but has taken another 4 weeks just to get at 95-99%.... I am hoping to return to 100%. I took one more shot in the right quad, since then i have been taking only delts and glutes........

I am done with quad shots.
