    Ice Cream in Protein

    On Test EQ cycle trying to watch my bloat staying away from sodium and fats eating heavy protien.... milk 100%whey and ice cream yay or nay? not that whey is nasty guess i jus miss my got damn ice cream = / dont know if i will get results i dont wan, from this any feedback

    EQ is for cutting I thought.... The ice cream and whey is an old school weight gainer.

    use low or non-fat milk, 40-48grams of protien and throw a bananna in there... little l-glutamine and other amino acids... yea buddy.. that's better than ice cream. ice cream has tons of sugar - stay away from it (if you want to be disceplined)

    do it for a cheat day maybe but not everytime u have a shake...i try to keep a pretty strict diet all week then at the end of the week load up and carbs and more fat then i'd usually ingest during the week

    I believe you can eat ice cream with your post workout shake but not to much. In order for your body to work, especially during physical activities, it needs an energy source. What your body uses as one of its energy source is a molecule called glucose. The cells of your body break down glucose through a process called glycolysis.After exercising your body needs to replenish its supply of glycogen. For this your body uses the glucose that is in your blood stream. This glucose can come from the glucose broken down from the glycogen in your liver or from glucose broken down from the food you eat. Since Ice Cream has lots of sugar, and sugar is broken down into glucose, I would say it is allowed to eat some ice cream after your workout therefore more of the protein you consume goes to your muscles.

    ^^ come on dude get real, ice cream is too high in fat to be effective anywhere,

    plus dairy foods arent great as some people tend to bloat on it, There are too many healthy choices to use PWO,

    Ice Cream taste great, use it on a cheat day, that it.

    full of fat. there are many better carb sources. Low fat rice pudding could be ok or just stick with dex or a low gi like powdered oats.

    Im truely amazed that ppl think ice cream is even considered a source of food. No wonder obesity is an epidemic in America.

    Glad you guys cleared that up for me. lol but isn't it true that some of your after workout protein drink gets converted straight to glucose and is not used for the replenishing of your muscles, That is what my nutritionist said
