    Please Help with MRI results!!

    Please help a friend:
These are my MRI results: What do you guys think:
-Mild Supraspinatus tendinopathy: No rotator cuff tear is seen
-Nonspecific marrow edema is identified in the acromion and clavicle. No arthritic changes are identified and this may relate to osseous contusion, possibly related to stress or weight lifting.

Heres the story: 4.5 weeks ago I felt pain while pressing anything over 75lb dumbells. I stopped, went to the doctor and he said take 4 weeks off; so I did. Meanwhile I have been resting, getting massages on my shoudler, stretching, etc. I feel good. No pain when I move my shoulder in anyway. Now last week I took the MRI (so already another week has pased by) and these were the results. The doctor said if I felt no pain I could go back to the gym and just stop if I feel pain, OR I could take some time off (again- maybe a week) Now what do you guys think? Take 1 more week off? He was making it seem that this is a very mild case which just showed some minor inflammation;nothing serious.. He said I could of had this for my whole "working out" carreer and it could not even be related to an injury. On top of that Im a very stressed person and he said that could relate.. So please if you could give me you views, opinions or thoughts.. Im already so pissed and ***ressed about being out for so long.. What should I do now? Go back..? Wait a week? More?
    Thanks guys!! Much appreciation

    It also says:
The A/C join is intact. The supraspinatus tendon is intact, but it demonstrates mild abnormal signal changes which may reflect tendinopathy. The infraspinatus, teres minor, and subcapularis tendons are unremarkable (what does this mean exactly). No solid or cystic lesions are seen. There is nonspecific marrow edema identified in the acromion and clavicle and this may reflect osseous contusion, possibly related to stress.

just take the extra week off, what can it hurt? I too am awaiting MRI results from 2 days ago, some form of problem to the pec major tendon and the supraspinatus is suspected. I have been out of the gym entirely for 6 weeks also, and 4 weeks before that I havent been training properly
