    Real Gains

I have been on many cycles over many years. Granted, I am a little older than most on this board and I do attempt to keep my useage at a "safe" level.
My true gains are the number of pounds gained in lean mass after I return to 10% body fat 3 months after a cycle.
I am happy with my weight/gains and look.

I have gained 20 lbs on a cycle many times, but I would never come on here and claim that is lean mass gains. WATER DOESN"T COUNT.
If a guy tells me he has done a fair volume of roids over the last 3 or 4 years and he is up 20 lbs, I can buy that.... But if he says he gains 20 lbs every cycle, in 5 cycles he must have gained 100lbs.
My gym just doesn't have that many guys that weigh 300 lbs at 10% or less body fat.

What are your true gains each cycle after you remove the water and fat?????

most i ever gain on a cycle was 22lbs. like you said thats with water. most ive ever kept was 15lbs. i went from 180lbs up two 202lbs. when it was all said and done with i weighed 195lbs. this was about 4 years ago and i f'd up my shoulders about 8 months later. i wasnt able to workout docs orders for about 6 months. i lost another five pounds and go kind of soft. end weight 190 when i got back in the gym. leason to all those guys that want to start aas to soon, the muscles will grow but your tendens and ligaments dont grow that fast.

I kept about 12-15 lbs from my first cycle. Gained 25 at peak but lots of water. once I came off the water went quickly. Maybe a few lbs of body fat mixed in but mostly muscle gains. I think I could have gained a bit more if I could force down more than 4k in calories a day. I stayed at about 3.5k

Eating mass amounts of food is harder than dieting for me
I log and track everything I eat while on a cycle and also when I diet in the Spring

I'm going to keep a full log next time of what I eat. I'm the same way - easier to diet than to eat so much. Getting up in the night for tuna or a shake helps me get the cals
