Order Seized

I placed an order and it was shipped in three segments. I received 1 and the other 2 were seized. I received a letter stating it was seized and all that. I scaned the letter and emailed to supplier. He says I need to take a pic of it and the envellope it came in. Well obivously I don't have the envolpoe and he will not resend with out it.

Is this the standard practice and I am up the creek or do any of you have an idea of what else I can do?

***ends on the source.. Mine was OK with a scanned copy of the letter.. They even returned my money, because I figiured a re-send would just get seized again.. Sounds like you may be SOL if they are demanding the envelope and you don't have it..

Dpends on the seller and their seizure/re-ship rules, but yes I've seen many of them stating that they also need the envelope. There is not much you can do, it's really up to the seller.

Yep ***ends on the source. I had one parcel out of three that didn't make it, and my source re-sent on just my word that it never came.

They want the envelope to verify the date sent with the postmark. I had to email all of that crap also.

Yeah. The place I got seized from request a copy of the envelope. But after I sent everything it took a couple weeks but they made good.

I hada pack scooped up a few years ago and my guy sent it right out to a diffrent address (buddies house I was watching while he was away on spring break... he still doesnt know what kind of illegal activity I had flowing through that place) the same week. No prob with that address.

Seizures are getting so common. It's a good idea to get straight what your sources's resend policy is before ordering.

Customs is in overdrive. They are seizin a lot of product. Shippers are going to have to finally address this issue by tightening up their packaging. Simple changes to how the package looks would stop most of the seizures. Also, their customs documentation sucks. I got an order with a commercial invoice that was copied like 1,000 times! Domestic is so much better. Our european brothers just do not understand.

I can't stop looking at that avatar dude! Sorry for hijacking the thread. Yeah I've dealt with a source like that before and he kept saying that what was seized wasn't what he sent. We went back and forth until he finally sent the shit. International sources can be pain sometimes, thats why when I need a product I look really hard domestically first b/4 going international.
