hey guys well yesterday I gave a friend a call and asked him for some help with GM's and bar positioning as well as for squats. Well he told me where the bar should be placed on your back kinda under your traps not like I was placing it on my traps and then I wondered why I could do more weight with a pad or something and it's b/c it felt better on my back. Well my squat last time I checked was shitty at 335, well today was my ME day and I wanna start working my squat better so I decided to do 5X5 HEAVY now normally last time I did these was like 6 weeks ago and my best was 245 5X5 that was positioning the bar high on my traps.
WELL TODAYS PR I did my warm ups and then did first set with the bar lower kinda on my delts like my friend told me and I did my first set thinking i stil needed 245 THAT WAS EASY AS HELL well i went up in weight for some reason I racked on 275 I did that for one set EASY as hell so I did another set with it (since I wasn't used to the bar being soooo low it did feel like it was gonna drop but in a way comfortable) I decided to move up in weight again and went for my last 2 sets with 295 so I did 2 sets with 295 for FIVE. The reason i'm excited is b/c my WORST lift is the SQUAT now I'ma work HARD On it for DEC.
The MAN who helped me out, although I had to cut you off short b/c of work sorry again bro, WAS GRIMMERThanks bro for the help Hope to talk to ya soon and this time with more of my free time and hopefully yours too
