I know there are a ton of conflicting views about how frequently you should train abs. I was just wondering what some of you bros (and sisters) like to do?
My abs and core are strong from lots of prior training so I do not train them often, I haven't touched them in about a year actually. When I cut down I train them more, about once or twice a week. No need to go overboard on abs because you indirectly train them with other exercises. I will only devote time for them when im cutting and I want to see them, they are kinda blocky from resistance training so they come in nicely.
I don't go crazy on abs either. I do upper and lower abs twice a week 2 to 4 sets each time. My main concern is a strong core so that I can still do heavy squats without lower back problems.
