If it's been an ongoing problem I would get a doctor to look at it.
Might sound strange but skipping rope every second day seems to have cured my thumb/wrist tendonosis along with ice/friction massage.
i know what your going through bud i currently have the same problem bought gloves with wrist wraps and i just wrap it up real tight and fight through it taking calcium and glucosomine hoping it heals dunno wtf is wrong with it i prolly should see a dr just scared wut hes gonna tell me
i have the same problem also mines i hut it doing power cleans in highschool just recently hurt it again doing to much weight on dips. i do the same thing cephas does i just rap it up real tight before a set then unrap it afterwards for circulation. also try to keep your wrist as parallel as possible when you do your curls that usually takes some of the strain off
I have a similar problem. Mine starts at the back of my hand just past the join and radiates down to my wrist. I usually don't have a lot of pain in the gym, but when I get done it kills. It's starting to actually affect my grip strength.
It's only in one hand and I had X-Rays done, but they were negative. I guess the next step is MRI or something like that. Messages help big time when I can get my old lady to do it, but ice and heat don't seem to help. Neither do anti-inflamatories. It almost feels like it always has to pop, but won't.
