    red face..

Looking at myself in the mirrior is angering me a lot lately.. My face has been red for a while now. Imagine where big glasses would be around my eyes, thats my regular skin color. but everywhere else on my face is red. though the redness stops right at my sideburns and goes down to my chin.. When I get angery at work, or if I am real hot, or worked out, it looks like im gonna pass the hell out, its so red. but around the eyes, and top of my forehead, looks like normal color skin... And even if I have laid around all day, its still red...

Anyone know why this is? A few things I have been thinking of, is I sleep with a fan blowing on me all night (since I was a kid) could my face be getting wind burned from the fan? The only other thing I can think of is I am a cook at the olive garden, and if I am not over 10 hot ass gas gas burners all day, I am standing over a turbo grill... Could my face be getting burned from the raising heat?

When I get my camera working I will take a pic..
But any ideas why this is? or any lotions or something to fix it?

    Thanks

Nah, im not taking any aas, and i got my blood pressure checked and it was pretty good.. I looked at some pics on google for broken capalaries, but its not like focused red in blotches or veins or such. it looks like I had sunglasses on, and got a sunburn on my face pretty much..

heavy lifting can bring tiny blood vessles to the surface of the skin around the face and neck

But even if I dont do any lifting, for a few days, its still red.. I went on accutane for a little under a year, about 1.5-2 years ago. Could that have something to do with it?

yes, and i've got the same issue... hot flushes come and go, even recently i posted on an acne forum asking post tane users when their skin got back to normal, no success. I've been off accutane for about 4 months and still got the embarrassing flushes... especially in the morning at work. i've noticed that not drinking coffee ease it a bit.

I'm in the same boat. From my research, I've figured that I (and maybe you guys) have thinner skin than a lot of people, so the blood vessels are closer to the surface of the skin. Everybody's blood vessels in their face fill with blood for all sorts of reasons, but they have thicker skin, so they don't turn red, it's masked. Also, these types of symptoms are early signs of rosacea, which is an AWFUL condition. Just b/c you turn red doesnt mean youll get rosacea, but means you might be more prone to it.

This is one of the reasons Im thinking of taking melanotan II. Not only will you get a nice tan and hardon, but some medical/research article i read on here said that it has been shown to significantly thicken the skin on your face (and the rest of your body??) . So, Im assuming that would help with the flushing. Just a thought.... Good luck

btw, I've been on several cycles of accutane and skin has never been the same

Just hear me out and research before you judge me. It is Liver fire. Chineese diagnosis, but I learned it while in acupuncture school. You need to get with a acupunturist or chiropractor that knows his acupucture and let him needle you to reduce liver fire. It comes on when you work out a lot and do not have the proper nutrition to nourish it. Sometimes it is chronic given your personality and situation. Some foods (ayurvedic medicine) will help. I say you get professional help. I have pics of me and my family and I am red compared to them. Not HBP and not cause I have quantum of indian (native american) in my blood. I do, but it is not caused by that. Just get graphed and they will you will see. Graphing is where you get the main 12 meridians measured and they take the average, strike a line 25 points above, 25 points below and find out-lyers. This is the only way to go. Check into tcmstudent dot com TCM is for traditional chineese medicine. Thanks

I got the same problem here bro..

My co-worker told me if I felt well because my face was so red. Many people have also noticed about how red my face looks.

I don't know if Flush Free Niacin would help..though this is used to control cholesterol and the hot flashes if I'm not mistaken.
