if you want to know what heavy metal is really all about, listen to
"sabbath bloody sabbath" and "national acrobat" by sabbath

you dont have to play ****en fast and growl to sound heavy!!!!!

but dude, i was just in a salty mood last night.....Instrumentally, I love LOVE current metal, instrumentally, not vocally...I absolutely DIG melodic metal, i just wish they didnt have to growl, i hate that

I really really dig the melodic hard rock thats flooding the radio stations these days too.....THeirs alot of really good bands that dont get air play, but they are all copies of each other......which i dont have a problem with because i love that style of music

Yea I understand. I'm actually the opposite... I hated metal that didn't have growling/screaming but some stuff is warming on me like Trivium and All That Remains.

Love the old metal though... Megadeth and old Metallica dominates.
