    deadlift help

    i traain legs on monday and back on wednesdeay, i deadlift on monday 4 my legs, the question is am i overtraining because deadlift works the lower back aswell or is this no prob . i always thought deadlift main muscle group worked was the back??????/help

    hopefully you're also squatting for your legs. if not i would make a change and pull on my back day and make sure squatting was my main lift for legs. i have always trained my pull on back day with the occasional change up and by change up i mean a squat and deadlift day. if you've never done a squat and deadlift day then you're missing out on loads of fun!!!

    just adjust your routine so there is more time in between back and leg day

    You shouldn't be doing deadlifts for your leg work out, it's a back work out.

    on leg days, try straight legged deads for hammys
