    Home Gym and Bjj

hey what's up everyone. Haven't posted in a LONG time. A lot of new members here.

    Well here's where i stand.
    5;6, 150lb

Been training BJJ for 2 years now and went from 178lb to 150lb.

I was very much into gaining muslce mass and bodybuilding, once i got into jiu jistu i just saw that the extra weight slowed me down. I feel really comfortable at my weight now and wouldn't mind adding an extra 10lb at most.

My goals, is not to be bulky, stay away from AS(anobolic steroids, not ass), and to gain muslce enough to go to 155-160lb and lean so that it can help me once i get to train muy thai.

I was very interested in buying a home gym. I figure, paying 40 bucks a day to go to the gym is not bad, but i plan on staying lifting for many years to come, so in that case, buy a home gym. I was wondering if anyone recommends a play where they sell equipment for good price. Also there is a bowflex extreme, iknow... i know... i know... that's for old dudes, and not seriouse dudes. But then again, i read it is good for certain people seeking certain goals. My goal is not to pack huge mass. Simple to build a little more muscle.

I need something compact so i doesn't take up enough space, willing to spend max $2000. I need it to have squat rack, bench, and all in between. As for my cardio, my bjj will be good enough for now.

As for supliments, i have stoped for a while. Since i started doing this stuff, i have layed of my knowledge in bodybuilding and it's all new to me again.

Currently, i am taking Animal pak (started yesterday). Protien shakes and L-glutaime.

Since i don't have a gym and don't want to go to the gym because the current close one is closing down this month, and others are to far, and with my schedule it really makes it hard for me. I am training with my friend at his home gym now. He has bench, squat rack, dumbbells.. and i want similar but wonder what the prices are.

I've searched and got some pics of members home set up, info on bowflex, and opinions, but no info on prices or good sites, or stores to buy.

    Thanks

Since you are doing BJJ you may think about crossfit exercises. You can buy a lot of the things you need for way under 2 grand. Just my .02.
I have been doing BJJ/MMA for over 5 years its mainly for fun now that I am getting older. A lot of the fighters are always doing crossfit and it works awesome. As for me I like gaining size
