Red face Protein Choice For Post Workout Insulin Spike

    Hey Guys,

I have been using Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard Protein Powder and it is great.

I have been simply mixing milo in with my post workout shake to add an insulin spike. About 40gms of sugar all up.

Should I buy this for a better insulin spike PWO?

My only doubt is that 85gms of carbs plus my 40gms of low gi carbs which I consume after going to the gym is quite alot, and I am on a clean bulk diet.

Should I simply buy this and have a meal or two without carbs and keep my macros the same?

    Is 85gms too much?

Or should I stick with the standard protein and just go buy some creatine with 30 - 80gms of sugars in it allready.

(i.e. cell tech hardcore / size on (currently using))

This is half way between a diet question and a supp q, so I will post here and hope for the best.

    Advice needed on PWO

It looks like a good product, but I bet you could get more bang for your $$$ buying the biggie bag of ON whey like you have been, and then buying your carb addition seperate.

85grams might be too much, or it might not be. Everyones different. Ive found a nice happy zone for me at around a 1 to 1 ratio, carbs to protein, which puts me at around 50g for both pwo

Wouldnt reccomend the celltech hardcore either...not to say its not a good product (im sure it is although ive never used it), but again your money will go ALOT further getting some sort of bulk creatine

One suggestion I would have it to look into Vitargo. Its what ive been using PWO for the past 3 months and it helps leaps and bounds with recovery! Although I am going against the grain in my previous suggestions being that its kinda pricey but Ive found it to be worth it.
