I was talking to some folks about my diet and such and they were all like "it's better to have minimal carbs and lots of protein and then minimal protein and lots of carbs instead of equal mix of both per meal since your carbs interfere with protein uptake" or maybe it was the other way around.. but either way, they were saying I shouldn't be taking my weight gainer shakes 'cuz they're protein and carbs but should use a protein only shake.. what say you?
I re-read all the stickies and it seems like every bulking diet shows you eating carbs/protein together...
