diappointed with "300"

Gladiator i honestly felt alittle fired up, and i heard 300 would do the same...but i just kinda sat, and chuckled at a few of the lines and then it'd be back to the same thing repeated

I agree with gladiator being better than 300 but I wasn't a fan of troy at all.
It doesn't fit in with these other movies but if just talking about battle movies Braveheart is probably my favourite.

You guys should view the extras and you would understand why they made the immortals and the other guys look like they did, it's how they saw them in their eyes. Mythology like the deformed guy, they made him look like that because they had no respect for him. I love 300, saw it twice at the movies and bought two copies, one for home and one for the store. Really pumps me up to see scenes of battle before hitting the weights

I enjoyed the movie for what it was. A fast action, adrenaline rushing, action movie with plenty of hollywood perks. It got me pumped and I wanted to stab someone when I was done watching it. However, if you like something with more story then yes, Gladiator was a much better movie. You have to go in knowing what type of movie you're watching, and then sure, you can enjoy it. if I went into Dirty Dancing and thought it was about strippers, I'd be dissapointed myself...

i cant believe people are giving TROY more credit than gladiator?!?!?! are you kidding me? troy was OK....i probably wouldnt even watch it again..the only part worth raving about is the first like 5 minutes,when he stabs that huge mother****er in the back that shit looked incredible..i was almost convinced they casted a suicidal huge guy and really knifed him where he stood that shit was seamlessly done..but the rest of the movie wasnt that great to me..gladiator was a crazy epic with amazing performances and an incredible story..i dont even think 300 or troy can be compaired to gladiator...that being said, 300 still kicks troys ****in ass...and for anyone critiquing the stretched reality or exaggerated elements of the battle scenes in 300...the movie is about a few soldiers basically kicking the worlds ass...i think the story was told around the premise of grandeur and fantasy, just like it probably always has been..to be able to appreciate 300 for all its worth tho you definately needed to see it in the theater..
