what effects do chew tobacco have on your workout
Sometimes it makes me choke when I'm gasping for air while deadlifting...
Nicotine gum gives me alittle lift b4 workout!
No effect, I don't chew when I lift I only chew b4 and after, but I do chew gum when I lift.
increased fat burning - good
hampers blood flow and eventually kills you - bad.
like u eluded to, any benefit is heavily outweighed by the negative long term effects.Originally Posted by perfectbeast2001

For me, chewing tobacco is an appetite suppressant. Being that I'm a hardgainer and have a hard time consuming enough calories to make progress, it benefits me to give up chewing all together. It also makes me feel more tired and out of breath quicker (being that it's a vaso constrictor).
If I chew before a workout, I feel weaker and get fatigued easier. I usually throw in a lip turd 2-3 times a week, later in the evening after a workout when I'm just chilling, or when I'm having a couple of drinks.
I just love dip, its tough its almost like id take the negatives just to continue dipping even though i havent gotten a buzz for 3 years now
It does inhibit your appetite, constricts your blood vessels (harder to get a pump) and also raises your metabolism slightly (bad if bulking)
