Go with a fast acting carb source such as waxy maize and hydro whey protein about 15-30 minutes following your cardio then follow up with a whole meal about 30 minutes later.

It depends on your goals. Are you cutting or training for a sport?

If cutting, no post workout carbs. Don't dig a hole and then kick the dirt back in.

If training for a sport, gatorade and some whey protein is fine.

hhmmm... I am curious. Because i thought that PWo carbs were kinda irrelevent due depletion of glucogen levels in the body. So the body is trying to reverse glucogen level depletion so U dont get in a catabolic state.

post work out carbs are vital for recovery. But when cutting it's irrelevant because you aren't go to build any muscle anyway. So it depends on what you are doing.

True! Low GI carbs are better post workout during a cut.
