    Question Number of Exercises

What # of exercises should you do for each body part, and how much would it differ for bigger and smaller muscles? Thanks.

Nothing is set in stone when it comes to exercises, sets and reps, some people respond better to higher volume than lower and vise versa. For smaller muscles like biceps and triceps I do 3 exercises, for larger like back, chest, quads I do 4 or 5.

ya cause its just that some guys in the gym tell me never do more than 3 for smaller muscles like biceps and triceps cause you'll be just burning them. Is that ture, the grow better if u do less but heavier???

Why do more than 1 exercise for 1 small muscle with 1 neural connection that can contract 1 way? Also why spend a lot of time on triceps, for example, when you already blasted them during your chest workout?

Now larger muscle groups I can see more exercises because you have to change the focus to each part of the group.

but too many exercises just waters it down so to speak. You would be better off sticking with the better mass builders and just doing more sets, rather than just doing a couple sets of 5 different useless exercises. Friends don't let friends use the pec deck or do triceps kick backs!
