Thread: twice a day

    twice a day

    i just got laid off and when im not out trying to find more work im just laying around the house..would i beable to go to the gym during the day and do some light lifting and then go back at night and do my usual heavy lifting. would it be ok for me to do that so i dont just sit around and get lazy or would i just be over training my self?

    If I were going to lift twice a day, I wouldn't hit the same muscle group, but instead split up the workout so you can go balls out on two seperate muscle groups. For instance, if you do chest and tris together...hit chest hard in the am, then tris hard in the pm

    right now im doing a 5 day split so im doing basicly one muscle aday

    mon-bis
    tue-legs/abs
    wed-tri
    thurs-shoulders/back
    fri-off (cardio)
    sat-chest
    sun- off (cardio)

    if i did that routine in the pm and do a muscle that i did 2-3 days pryer like if today i did bis light in the am and did shoulders/back heavy in the pm would that be ok? i just find my self being lazy during the day..im a carpenter so when i was working im always moving around and lifting things through out the day and now im doing little things around the house or just sitting down watching the tv which i rarely did before
